Handforged finish: Each Steak Flipper is individually forged with hammer and anvil. The firescale is kept in the finish for a beautifully rustic look and feel. The firescale is sealed with flax seed oil for a blackened, rust-resistant finish.
Carbon Steel Durability: Handforged from carbon steel, the Steak Flipper is designed to withstand the test of time. Carbon steel not only maintains a keen edge and sharpens easily, but also develops a natural patina over time, adding to the character of the steel.
Unique handle construction: The Steak Flipper features a solid steel, handforged "pineapple twist" pattern handle.
Carbon steel utensil care: Carbon steel will rust if not cared for. After use, wash or wipe clean by hand (NOT in a dishwasher), dry, and oil with a food-friendly oil such as olive oil, Ballistol, or mineral oil.
